Everything is good here at Holiday Lake! We spent the morning setting up beds in our lodgings and getting to know the camp staff at the welcome assembly. Lunch was followed by safety drills, health checks, swim tests, group meetings, and some game time. We were interrupted during this rotation by some rain - what a surprise, huh?
Our teens met with the campers in their cabins before dinner. Then...rain. Again. So, evening plans changed to a choice of a movie, games, or gau gau and a dance under the pavillion
We're off to the store now and then, hopefully, we'll have our 1st campfire before we call it a day!
Classes start tomorrow morning!
