Can you believe that camp is almost here! The Appomattox and Nelson County teens have been meeting regularly and working hard to be prepared for a great week on the shores of Holiday Lake with the campers! Here they are in the most recent training session which was attended by a couple of "visitors"! Our teens are enthusiastic!
The theme for this year is "Going Back in Time to Make Camp a ROARING SUCCESS"! Activities for this year's camp have been planned with dinosaurs as the focus. The theme has a double meaning: we are going back to camp and enjoying all of our traditional activities there for the first time since 2019 AND Appomattox and Nelson are camping together again after many years.
So that you keep up with what your camper may be engaged in at camp this year, we will be updating you several times a day with pictures and narratives about what's going on at camp. One other thing - if you are missing ANY of your camper's paperwork, please turn that in to your extension agents sooner rather than later. We are in the final stages of planning and need everything to be in place. Thank you so much for your support!
